Last Call!...

Hey, everyone!

Just a quick last call to say that I'm very much looking forward to tomorrow!

As far as I know, Steve is still completely in the dark. How I've managed to get everything prepared, purchased, organized, etc. without raising his suspicions is either a testament to how much we trust and respect each other, or how good of a liar I am. Time will tell, I suppose. 😂

As in my previous post, we're asking that you arrive at 12:20 PM (no later than 12:30 PM). Daren and Andrea have kindly agreed to come a bit early to help with a few parts of the set-up. Steve and I are going to a movie, and we should be out by 12:30 or so, and home by 12:45 PM (without traffic).

Steve always drives, so I'll come into the house first. Loida (my party planner) will be alerted via text as we're pulling up, so everyone can get into the living room and ready to yell, "Surprise!" as Steve walks in after me. You know, the general shtick for a surprise party.

Remember, please do not park in the driveway or on our street (Upton Pyne Drive), lest Steve spot your cars when we come back. The best place to park is on Summer Red Way, which runs almost directly into our driveway.

My cell is 510-432-2344, in case anyone needs to get a hold of me. I'm so sorry to hear that Edge may have been exposed to the novel Coronavirus, and that he won't be able to come. I'll try to FaceTime with him at some point during the party, and screencast him onto the TV so everyone can say hi, and he can with Steve a happy birthday.

 Hi, everyone! We're just a bit more than two weeks away from the big SURPRISE birthday party for Steve, and I wanted to give you an update. 1. I have the dietary restrictions from each of you who provided them, and Loida (my party planner) has them too and will shop accordingly.
